  • You will receive the e-visa result after approximately 3 days. If your e-visa is approved, print it out to enter Vietnam.

A quick reminder that you can also request a travel agency in Vietnam to apply for a Vietnam e-visa on your behalf. However, please check carefully whether the agency is legit. There have been many reports of people being scammed in the application process and got their personal data stolen.

Conclusion

The Vietnam e-visa is a great alternative to the conventional way of applying for a visa through the embassy. The only main drawback is that its validity is rather short. Nevertheless, a Vietnam e-visa is the perfect go-to for foreigners entering Vietnam for a short duration of stay.
